Devs Letting Spyro Reignited Trilogy Cook, Delayed Until Nov. 13th

Unfortunately, our favorite little purple dragon will not be gracing our consoles next month. This comes from an official post on the Activision Games Blog. Here is the link to the post:

Co-Studio Head Paul Yan states, “We’re deeply committed to getting these games right…I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care.” The trilogy was originally slated to be released on September 21st, putting the game a week away from the releases of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Life Is Strange 2 and FIFA.

Its new competitors will be Hitman 2, Fallout 76 and Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu!/Eevee! Spyro has a very dedicated audience and has built great fervor since its announcement; the delay does not seem like it will have much consequence, if any.

I have been very encouraged by gameplay footage and the impassioned voices of the developers. This game is one to look out for. Are you worried about the delay? Are you looking forward to the Reignited Trilogy? Let’s talk about it in the comments.
